It happens all too often...you finish your day at work, at the gym, running errands, etc., and you get this uneasy feeling making your way to the car. Is it because its dark? Is it because your alone and your a woman. Is it because you don't feel you have the skill set needed to defend yourself?
Or is it all of the above?
As I stood in my first G3 Krav Maga women's self defense class, all of these thoughts ran through my head. Over and over again, I questioned myself as to why I had so many questions and fears during such a simple task of heading to the car at the end of a long day. And with one class surrounded by so many strong, independent women with so many of the same questions, the answer was clearer...
I had no control over my environment, the person following me, the weapons they may have, or their strength. But I did have one thing.
A realistic, applicable practice to save my life and the life of another...
KRAV MAGA.
With just one class, I could take back some of that control and slowly hear the questions I had wash away. Man or woman, if you have these same questions run through your mind daily, I am confident this will at the very least ease your fears, give you an amazing workout, and will provide you with the skills that can be used against any size, weapon, or gender.
When your life is on the line, take the control back.
